What actions do you take to make these outcomes a reality?

George Bernard Shaw said, “The possibilities are numerous once we decide to act and not react.”

Yet your days, and mine, become so filled with commitments and responsibilities that we often react to events, circumstances and people in our lives, rather than live our lives from a place that ‘everything is possible.’ We live our lives as reactionaries, rather than proactive creators because we simply … “don’t have enough time,” and what we most want gets lost in the shuffle.

But as I’ve learned from masters of personal development and artists, Olympic champions and athletes, musicians and even local farmers, conscious choice making has the power to shape the quality of our life.

Darren Hardy, publisher of Success Magazine and author of The Compound Effect and The Entrepreneur Rollercoaster says it in a way that really landed when he wrote, “Small, smart choices + consistency + time = RADICAL DIFFERENCE.”

From that counsel, I began to live the mantra, “I will put off what I want now for what I want most,” by making conscious small, smart choices, consistently, like a Sacred promise, every single day … with a budding daily ritual guiding me forward. My efforts have reaped nothing short of the miraculous!

Since then, I’ve learned of, practiced and integrated a whole system of go-to rituals into a Day Planner to help me produce the outcomes I most want, which I’ve organized together for you to experiment with and integrate, if they make sense to you. Try them out, recreate them your way, use them how they most make sense to you, to increase your focus, to renew your commitment to your outcomes, and to fire you up!

Per Hardy’s counsel above, begin with one new daily ritual. Nail it down. Create it as law. Flat out non-negotiable. Then add in another. And another. And another.
